Dominic Hawkes, MCGB has nearly 30 years of experience in the food service industry, starting in some of London’s finest hotels, including the Ritz. He completed diplomas in Culinary Arts, a B.A. in business studies, majoring in hospitality studies and certified in nutrition & health, and wines & spirits. Dominic interned for Bank of America, Corporate Food Services. He then was with the Charlotte City Club, retiring after 19 years, as the F&B Director. Since 2019, he has taught Culinary Arts at Lancaster County School District Career Center, SC. Dominic is certified to teach and proctor four certifications offered by National Restaurant Association, including ProStart Culinary & ServSafe. He is an award-winning Chef Instructor, certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor and co-author of Integrated Introduction to Culinary Arts Management – Safety, Recipes and Certification.
